Graphic Syllabus

This is a graphic syllabus which gives an overview of the topics and content of this course. This graphic syllabus gives a visual overview of the modules as well as the key topics in each module. As this is an optional online course for my teachers, there will be no formal grading or due dates so all of the policies are not really necessary. There will be guidelines for the teachers and plenty of feedback, but no real policies.

When creating a syllabus, we had a choice to create a written or graphic syllabus. I chose the graphic syllabus as I wanted to create something that was interactive and that the visual learner could relate to. This syllabus is an easy way for the learner to get a visual understanding of what they can expect to learn in the course.

Creating the syllabus is important in the design process as it allows the instructor the opportunity to look and reflect on a general overview of the content of the course. It is helpful for the student so they can see at a glance what the topics will be.
